J1/J2 Announcements

A number of you were unable to accept your trophies for this season (or 2008)… as a result, we have still have them!

I have dropped them off with the ladies in the Administration building and they are available for pickup there.  Administration is the office building with the ramp leading up to it (above Snow Stars).

This is our final weekend of the year.  We will meet at 9 am on Sat at the gate shack.  We will be doing a fun race followed by a BBQ and then at 1 we will do our end of the year awards in front of the gate shack.  It should be fun for all and it would be great to see as many of you athletes and parents that can make it join in.

We are having our annual End of Year Awards Party on Saturday, March 27^th.

The morning will have a dual course set up on Wardance for fun racing and beginning at noon we will have a BBQ (weather permitting of course) at the Yurt/Gate Shack area.  At 1:00 the season long awards from each program will be handed out.

So come on by and have a great time with us!

This weekend Pico is having a make up SL race on Sat the 13th.  If you want to do the race e mail me by Thurs Morning and I will send names in.  If you are not going to pico and want to train we will have a late start on Sat.

Dear OMARA communty:

In conjunction with our conferences scheduled for this Friday, OMS will be hosting an open house social for parents from 3:00-5:00pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to view the school, meet teachers and administrators, and find out how OMS might be a fantastic match for your child’s continued athletic and academic development.

Appetizers, beer and wine will be available.  As we travel into the final weeks of the season let’s gather together and toast our children and for what they have accomplished and you, their parents, for providing them with this opportunity.

Hi everyone

Some how I had over looked this race at Okemo on Sunday Feb the 21st when I put out the schedule. This is the J1 state SL but it has now been opened to J2 entries. If you would like to enter this race use the alpine reg link below http://www.alpinereg.com/mountains/OkemoVT/OkemoVT.cfm

So We will change the end of the week plan to this

Fri 19th State SG with a 6am van to GMVS  If you don’t go to the race we will have SL training meet at the Gate shack at 10am

Sun 21st SL race at okemo 730 Reg If you don’t want to race let me know we will be looking for some fore runners
